Whilst the Golden Griffins aid their kingdom against the Alimrothi Raiders that have ravaged their lands for years, Corsicus travels beyond its border, hoping to find allies or a solution that are not kept only at the behest of gold. Though he is beginning to believe his search may be in vain, for the world beyond his homeland is no less bitter.
